Palma

Palma is the elegant and cosmopolitan capital of Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, and is known for its beaches, climate, cultural and traditional influences.

Set in the beautiful bay of Palma, famous for its stunning sunsets, the waterfront is dominated by the spectacular Gothic Cathedral restored in 1902 by Antoni Gaudi, the famous and controversial Catalunyan architect.
Our swimming training camps take place in the facilities at the Son Hugo Swimming Complex in Palma City.  

Son Hugo was the site of the 1999 World University Games, the 2001 European Masters Championships and the 2006 European Junior Championships.

The facility comprises of two 10 lane 50m pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The site also houses a diving pool, fitness studios and a cardio-vascular gym.   
We offer teams a choice of 3* and 4* accommodation depending on budget. All of the hotels are located in beach resorts around Palma such as Palma Nova, Can Pastilla and Playa de Palma.

Can Pastilla and Playa de Palma are located 10 minutes drive east of the airport and 20 minutes from the Son Hugo Swimming Complex. Both resorts have beaches that are ideal for physical training away from the pool and have many shops and restaurants along with a range of bars, taverns and nightclubs.  

Palma Nova is 15km west of Palma and has a fine sandy beach. The resort has a wide choice of shops, restaurants and nightlife.  Accommodation can also be arranged in Palma if preferred.
